Almost melting back into the bed, she let her shoulders relax and focused on just Mac and her pussy and what he was doing to it. She shuddered and groaned. Orgasms were certainly different since she’d met the sexy cowboy.
Mac looked up at her.
“Can I return the favor?” she asked.
He flopped over onto his back beside her.
“Are you going to have your wicked way with me?”
“Of course, but I promise I’ll be very gentle.”
****
Mac closed his eyes as Steph took his full length into her mouth while massaging his balls. Maybe he’d died in the night, because no lady had ever given him this sort of double treat before. He took a deep breath almost suffering from the same thing as Steph, big finale without the getting there.
She ran her tongue under his shaft and around the tip.
He was a lucky man, having Pete retiring and bringing in Steph as his replacement. He’d have to buy the man a drink and a huge steak next time he saw him.
Mac was on the verge of coming, but he wanted to be inside Steph again.
“Hey, you feel like riding a cowboy?”
She looked up at him.
“Condoms are in the bedside drawer,” said Mac.
She leaned over, her butt now sticking in the air. Temptations, temptations. He spanked it, turning the milky cream skin slightly pink.
Steph reached into the drawer and pulled out a foil package, tore it open and without being asked, she took his cock and sheathed him.
“Doc, you do that like an expert.”
“You’re smiling now but just wait until you get my bill. Boy, am I expensive.”
They held hands as she lifted her body up and then impaled herself down on his dick.
It started to rain. He could hear it beating on the roof and the metal downspout by the window. He hadn’t thought about it before, but rain had a romantic sound to it.
She lifted her body up and then down as she began a slow and steady movement back and forth, grabbing his cock with those strong pussy muscles. Her breasts bounced, the nipples standing to attention. He only wished he could suck one as she rode him.
Steph leaned toward his chest, kissed him and slid her body up and down. That felt even better. The tip of his shaft scraped her pussy walls, making them quiver.
“I might have to sing soon,” she said.
He smiled. She groaned, but continued moving up and down, moaning softly again a few minutes later. Mac moved his butt off the bed to meet her movements and then by some miracle they climaxed together. He’d never done that before.
Steph laid on his chest as they breathed in unison.
“How about breakfast in bed?” she asked.
“You cooking, or shall I?”
“Let me think about that.”
****
Steph leaned against the side of the stables and sipped on her coffee as she watched Mac spin the rope around his head and then gradually let it fall over his body and back up again. They’d had a good rain all morning and the air smelled refreshed and clean. She looked to the mountain range to the west. She loved this place. Best thing she’d done, applying for and accepting the job with Pete. And if she hadn’t challenged herself to do it she wouldn’t have met Mac. She would have loved to have seen him during his days in the rodeo.
“And for my next trick,” he said, pulling on the rope.
Her cellphone rang. She looked at the number. It was Pete. She’d forgotten she’d agreed to be on call today.
“Hi, Pete.”
“Hi, Steph, one of the ranchers has an emergency with one of his horses, cut its leg pretty bad on some barbed wire. I said you’d go take a look and see if you can stitch him up.”
“Sure, I’d be happy to.”
“It’s the Jackson Ranch on Highway 15, you can’t miss it. It’s a mile from the gas station and the name of the ranch is on a billboard by the side of the road. Owner’s name is Mike.”
“Okay, got that and I’m leaving right now.”
She ended the call and put her phone in her back jeans pocket. She wondered what Pete would have to say if he knew she hadn’t taken one piece of his advice about staying away from Mac. Sally would probably say you go for it, young lady.
She walked over to Mac who was finishing with his rope trick.
“I have to make a call at the Jackson ranch.”
“Jackson, that’s Mike’s place.”
“One of his horses had a run in with some barbed wire and I said I’d go stitch him up.”
Mac nodded. “Just watch yourself around Mike. He’s newly divorced and I hear he’s been dating up a storm.”
She smiled. “You sound like Pete and his warning me about you.”
“Take my advice and not Pete’s.”
“I’ll do that and I want to thank you for last night, this morning…breakfast.”
He pulled her to him and kissed her. “Thank you too.”
She was hoping he’d say more, like when they’d get together again, but maybe Pete had been right. It had been her choosing and hers alone to spend the night with Mac. She definitely wasn’t going to push the issue of getting together again.
“Duty calls,” she said.
****
Mac paced up and down and was pretty sure he was wearing out his favorite cowboy boots. He entered the stable. He’d go for a ride and clear his head. He put the saddle on his horse and headed out down dirt track at the back of the ranch. The place he did his best thinking.
Steph would be at Mike’s ranch by now. He knew Mike well. They’d gone to high school together. Fact was he’d always been a flirt, always played around even when he’d been married, so Mac wasn’t too surprised to hear that his wife of ten years had finally up and left him.
Knowing Mike as well as he did, Mac was certain he’d hit on Steph. Not that he believed she’d be foolish enough to fall for his charm and the sneaky way he could twist a female around any one of his fingers. However, the thought of any man, not just Mike, being around her with thoughts of getting into her panties, repulsed him and made him angrier than hell.
He pulled on the reins to make the horse stop. He looked out over the valley. He’d never been a guy to be jealous so what did that say about him?
Pushing his hat back on his head, he knew he should have said something to Steph before she left an hour ago. He should have told her he didn’t want this to be a one-night stand. He was sick to death of those. He wanted more nights like the one they’d just had.
Hell, that sounded wrong too. Not just nights filled with sex, but nights where they’d go on dates and do stuff together. A real chance to get to know one another.
He had every intention of doing just that, but like he’d been when he’d tried to ask her out, he’d been lost for words.
No, not lost for them. They were there in his head but his mouth for some stupid reason couldn’t get them to spill out over his tongue.
Pulling on the reins, the horse moved again.
Coulda, shoulda, woulda.
Damn, what the hell was wrong with him? He was acting like a teenage boy around a girl he liked at school.
Turning the horse around, he knew he had to put it right. Had to tell Steph that Pete had it wrong. He was a reformed man now he’d realized what a proper relationship could be like. He had to find her, and soon.
Chapter Nine
Steph’s ass was sore, and not from the spankings Mac had given her. Mike Johnson had pinched her right butt cheek when she’d been bending over checking out the gash in the horse’s leg. She’d never slapped a man before, but she’d turned around and done just that.
“Go ahead and report me for assault if you like, but I will not be manhandled by you or any client,” she’d told him.
He colored up, and when he’d said he was sorry she’d smelled booze on his breath.
“I’m going to stitch up your horse but I won’t be coming back to your ranch. Pete will, but after h
e retires I won’t have you as a client.”
He’d simply nodded and walked away.
She’d really wanted to tell him she was spoken for. Had her own cowboy…but that wasn’t true. Mac had let her leave with just a kiss and a thank you.
Steph made her way into the clinic. Pete and Sally lived on site and when he retired Steph would probably move into the house. They were eating supper on the back porch.
“Everything go okay with the horse at the Jackson ranch?” asked Pete.
“Yes, a nasty gash but I got it closed up and he should be fine with some antibiotics I prescribed.”
“Honey, you look tired. You want to sit down and have some lemonade?” asked Sally.
“I’d love to.”
“Everything okay?” asked Pete.
“I slapped Mike Johnson,” said Steph sitting down.
Pete burst out laughing. “About time someone did. He pinch your butt?”
Steph nodded.
“I don’t know what you’re laughing at,” said Sally, slapping his arm. “That’s disgraceful.”
“I told him I won’t be going back there and when I take over the business I don’t want him as a client.”
“Good for you,” said Sally pouring the lemonade. “How was your date with MacDreamy?”
Steph looked at her. “How did you know about that?”
“Sweetie, this is a small town and unlike Billings, you’ll learn that everyone knows everyone else’s business.”
“I warned you,” said Pete wagging his finger at her.
“I wish you’d warned me about Mike and his hands too.”
“Some things you have to learn for yourself,” said Pete.
“So is it true?” asked Sally.
“Is what true?” asked Steph.
“You know, about MacDreamy and you?”
“Sally Vandross. A woman never kisses and tells, and I suggest you stop listening to the gossip,” said Pete.
Sally raised both her hands.
“I’ll tell you when we’re alone,” said Steph before she finished the last of the lemonade. “I think I’m going to head home and take a nice soak in the bath.” She stood.
“You want to visit some of the ranches over on the west of the county tomorrow? One of them even has some alpacas,” asked Pete.
“I’d love to.”

Steph wrapped the towel around her body when she heard the doorbell ring for the second time. She wasn’t expecting anyone. In fact, she didn’t know enough people yet to have someone just drop by.
She pulled the drapes back thinking maybe it was someone selling door to door but when she saw Mac standing there, her heart skipped a beat.
Opening back the door, neither of them said a word as they stood looking at one another.
“You want to come in?” she finally said.
He took off his hat and stepped inside.
“I know I should have called first but…”
“But what?”
“I had to tell you what I didn’t tell you before.”
He pulled her in close to him.
“Despite the rumors about me being a one-night only type of guy, I want to have two nights with you, hell even three nights, as many nights as you’ll put up with me.”
“I’ll have to think about that.”
She was messing with him and she hadn’t realized he’d taken it to heart until she actually saw his bottom lip quiver. “I’m joking. I want it too and I was sort of hurt when you didn’t say anything when I left.”
“I know, not sure what came over me. So where do you want me to take you on a date this weekend?”
“How about a rodeo? I mean if that won’t upset you.”
He shook his head. “That’s my past life. My ranch is my new one. And I don’t want all this to be just about sex.”
“I know,” said Steph.
She pulled on the front of the towel and let it drop to the floor.
“But we just said…”
She put her fingers on his lips.
“I know, but I’m perfectly okay with us just getting together for a little fun once in a while too.”
“Like now.”
She nodded. “Come on, MacDreamy.”
“MacDreamy, what the hell sort of name is that?”
“You don’t know that’s what all the women in town call you?”
He blushed. She loved the fact that he was blushing.
“And what else did they say about me?” asked Mac.
“I’m not one to spread rumors.”
“Come on now, spill?”
She shook her head.
“Then it’s going to have to be the hard way.”
She screamed when he lifted her and put her over his shoulder. “Which way to your bedroom, miss?”
She pointed to the left.
He carried her and put her down on the bed before running his hands down her thighs and parting her legs. He toyed with her clit.
“I won’t tell you, you can torture me all you like.”
He twirled his finger around.
She began whistling.
Mac ran his finger around her pussy opening.
She sang louder.
He pushed it inside of her.
Shit, he was too good and she didn’t feel like saying the alphabet backward.
She gave in and just enjoyed her climax.
“Going to tell me now?” asked Mac.
“Rumor is you’re good between the sheets.”
“Well, I wonder who started that one?”
“I wonder,” said Steph, letting Mac lay on top of her.
They kissed.
“Is it true?” he asked.
“I think I’d have to experience more of you to say yes or no.”
They burst out laughing.
“I am so going to love getting to know you,” said Mac, brushing the hair away from her eyes.
“Me too,” said Steph. Me too.
